Description

Cellatica's wine great reputation dates back to the XV century. Besides the famous Franciacorta wine, the local growers carefully produce a long-time forgotten wine, Cellatica Superiore Negus, whose name comes from Angelo "Negus" Gatta, the original finder of the vineyards back in the '60s. The clay, chalky soil give a peculiar character to each wine. For this reason the locals love to say "one land, one wine"...

Elegant and complex from the very first hints. Long, refined and balanced intensity. Pleasant hints of aromatic herbs in the opening, then intertwines of preserved fruits and a slight splash of brackish. Scents of hazelnut, yeasts, flint store, sea water, peach preserves and cedar zest. Very balanced carbonation. Delicate and firm acid vibration. Almost perfect ending on a hazelnut feeling.
