Tucked between the Apennines and the Tyrrhenian Sea of central Tuscany, the Felsina estate is part of a vast, hilly region of the infinite variations. Located on the southeast edge of the Chianti Classico appellation, it is between the last spurs of the Chianti hills and the beginning of the Ombrone valley. Felsina, which straddles the confines of the Chianti Classico appellation, represents, from a geological viewpoint, a “frontier land,” also encompassing the heath clay of the Crete Senesi, not far off in the direction of Montalcino and the Maremma, down to the sea. The territory of Felsina also extends from Berardenga to the wide basin of Siena. It is a singular territory, with its peculiarities and nuances that make it stand out.
